Neil Young's... "Old Black"
Old Black was originally a 1953 Gibson Les Paul Gold-top. It was painted black before Neil acquired it, however.
Neil traded a Gretsch for it, in 1968.
A year later, in 1969, Young added the Bigsby to Old Black.
It now rocks a bunch of metal hardware, such as the aluminum pickguard and rear electronics cover.
Where is it now? It’s still rockin in the free world, Neil Young still takes it out and plays it on a regular basis.
