Boris Johnson has threatened that he is willing to walk out of the Brexit negotiations as news comes that the UK government is preparing legislation which could break parts of the Withdrawal Agreement.
Since the UK left the EU in January, trade talks have been ongoing. Progress in the negotiations has been slow, with the two sides stuck over the contentious issues of fishing rights and state aid rules, meaning whether the UK government can subsidise failing businesses. Boris Johnson’s tough words are aimed at making the EU aware the UK is willing to walk away with No Deal if the trade agreement is not satisfactory for British interests. The UK is due to leave the transition period at the end of this year, with or without a trade deal.

UK, get the hell out of Europe, Europe is lost. Soon Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands will follow. There are strong movements in these countries that want to go out of Europe, and they are still growing stronger.
The Uk people unanimously voted for Brexit. Whether others like it or not, that was the decision. Uk ex pats were able to vote but I personally, didn't vote. I've accepted what the Uk people wanted. I think it's about time that Boris now puts his foot down with a firm hand He needs to get the Uk out of the EU, with or without a deal as quickly as possible. This has been going on for far to long now and the British people are getting pissed off with it all, and can you blame them?.
I'm going to sail my dinghy out into the middle of the "channel" fully equipped with my cane rod attached with a long piece of string and a fishing hook on the end I wonder who would pick me up 1st? The French or the Brits?

Yes we must listen to socilaists for expert advice.
I don't understand the meaning of your "post" This thread was about Brexit. All you do is go on about "lefties" etc..... Yes, the Uk have their problems but maybe look at your own Country first and foremost. All the trouble that you're having there. You can't put the blame on the Uk for all the crap that the US is suffering from now. The Uk isn't having people rioting, shooting each other, destroying and burning down businesses. I'm not sure why you have so much hatred within you that you have to "lash out" at everyone. Maybe that was what you was taught in the US Army? The armed Forces can now seek medical help for TSS. Watched this movie many times...........
Miss_Cellaneous: Not till the 31st of December 2020 my darling I have an "official letter" from Uk.Gov
no my sweetheart Britain no longer belongs to the EU
The deadlock was only resolved after a subsequent general election was held in December 2019. Following the outcome, the UK Parliament finally ratified the withdrawal agreement, and the UK left the EU at 11 p.m. GMT on 31 January 2020.

The brexit you crave is lighting a match to see if there is still fuel in the petrol can. Than can is Ireland and the Good Friday peace agreement. Stock up on the burn ointment is my advise if there's no deal

We are still in transition until the end of this year hence the ongoing discussions about trade T.C.
Europe has been controlled by dictators for centuries. What makes anyone think that the EU, with all its taxations and regulations, is any different???
