Absolutely! But you can have a little water spray bottle to encourage him to stay out of certain spaces of your choice. They don't like to be sprayed but it doesn't hurt them... then eventually by simply leaving the water spray bottle in that space they recognise it, it teminds them and avoid the space. Well I don't have a cat but that's how my friends trained their 3 cats to stay off the dinner table, kitchen worktops etc... Hugs for Skedde
