ElysianFields: Covid deaths and counting. One million is a watershed, a big number, of anything. They're now talking about the next possible plateau...2 million.
ElysianFields: Which ones? If you tell me Soros, we'll never speak again...
Ruffer Investments - first reported in the Financial Times, and others. World was heading for a recession before the virus spread like wildfire, the markets new this and were waiting on the sidelines to catch the fall out and profit. It’s what they do, business.

Well, it helps against the overpopulation. And most people dying are the old ones. Not that I want them to have a happy and healthy old day, but the fact that people are getting older and older also costs a lot of money for the healthcare. Governments are trying everything for people to get older, making smoking unpopular, saying to eat healthy, trying to polute the air we breath less than we used to do etc. Well, there is a price. The dutch government already raised the age when you can get retired, now it's 67 and some months, it used to be 65, and in the past you also could choose to work until you were 60 and then have a pre-retirement. A lot of countries don't raise the age that you can retire, but the costs are rising, so somebody have to pay for it. So I guess not everything is bad about covid 19.
