You have it. As an old person, my view of Africa is of small, poor, uneducated villages of blacks. Too many movies of leaping Watusi. Even Black Panther portrayed villages and native garb. So relating to Africa is clouded by that. Logic says there are cities with sky scrapers, college educated, upper middle classes. But, that pertains more to South Africa. With the history of SA, those are figured as whites. And the perception is that those on date sites are either poor or looking for a free hand out or hand up. Sorry.
According to UN statistics the population of Africa is about 1.3 billion. How many of those (to include children) do you think are scammers?
My post was in response to the op asking about why Africans ON THIS SITE are avoided. Since when are children allowed on this site? Don’t twist my post. This site automatically blocks most of Africa to protect users from scammers.
you know, I didn’t even think of it until now. Btw—since this thread is going all directions: took kitten ( 9 weeks old) for 2nd of 3 vaccines. He had a bit of a skin problem— vet sent me home with speedy shampoo, which I did to the letter. Kitten is very sleepy (predicted) but his left eye is squinting. Got me a little worried. ( I’m over-the-top on wanting to do everything right... do you think he’ll be ok? Am I fretting too much?

He will be just fine. Don’t panic over every little thing. You’re doing a great job. The fact you care sooo much about him means he’s in the best home he could ever be in. He will grow up to love you all of his life
