I’ve notice that most people when they age, have formed an opinion on certain things in life & are unwilling to compromise on their ideology towards it . In an ever changing world , and I’m not just talking about the technological part, but the way the younger generation perceive thing , are you ready to adapt, or are you stuck in your ways ?

I've totally radically changed the way I live and work, my diet, my lifestyle since moving to the mountains in Spain …
It's a lifestyle I enjoy now so wouldn't want to change it back to a more unhealthy one but open to expansion on further improvement …

I was thinking more about you mindset, but I agree about wanting a more tranquil life .. I’m not sure about the fact that I’m getting old in years , but London is not somewhere I can imagine myself living for much longer .

I think my mind set is ageless … I know younger people than me who feel old and say things like "at my age blah blah blah" as if they were ancient!
I think our needs change with experience rather than with just age … it's about making informed choices of what we want for ourselves rather than sticking with what we know for fear of change …

When I hear people complaining about the youth of today , I often think myself , I did the exact same thing at that age ..

I reckon that's what happens as you get older..you gradually trade youth and the enthusiasm of ignorance for age, wisdom and insight...
One2note: I think humans are adaptable creatures. Society expects us to behave in a certain manner..
If you look at sport for example, there are many sportsman that carry on in their 50s and beyond. There are gym enthusiasts, especially among women , who are fitter in their 60s than in their 20s.
I decided at 30 I would get a year younger every year afterwards. I had been reading about the doctor who claimed to cure cancer with visualization and decided to try to be younger . i don't know if it worked but i never think too old for blah blah . i take up new interests all the time

Whatever works for you . It’s not always about physical appearance, but training your brain to believe that time can stand still .. I may try your theory .
Selenite: There are quotes around from scholars in the 1400's complaining about "the youth of today" and about standards of intelligence having "dropped"
It’s not getting better with technology, I can assure you ! Modern day computers have taken over our brains . ( not me personally )

I never set "my clock" by society's expectations … there are 3 different society's (countries/cultures) in my family and if I tried to set my clock by any of them I'd be in a permanent quandary …
I set my clock by what I want to do irrespective of if it's been done before or not …
When I was in secondary school (in France) I was told I wasn't clever enough to study maths and science at Bacalaureat level (A levels) so I'd have to do some general studies and become a secretary or similar … I told them I would do no such thing. I wanted to study "Travel and Tourism" … They told me it didn't exist... I replied I didn't care! That's what I wanted to study. I was so insistent that they ended up doing some research on courses and discovered that at the same Bac school where I was going to be doing my supposed "general studies to become a secretary" there was also a "Travel and Tourism" 3 year Bacalaureat course which they had known nothing about! I took the entry exam and passed!!

yeh, shaking it up and keeping things fresh and/or doing new things and never letting yourself get into a rut is always a good way to keep yourself in good form...and young at heart too I guess...I never really gave the last bit too much thought though, so

that is what i mean. I am amazed when people consider themselves too old for what they want to do. In the 80s i heard of a woman of one hundred who went tk Australia to start a new !ife. The doctor was wrong though, now his estate say he never claimed it

That's how I tend to go about my life
Determination.. a great attribute to have in your persona , especially in a business sense.
