Hallo everyone I was still at school when i heard this song so that would make it late 60's possibly early 70's but more late 60's I think. It is easy to listen to pop and sounds like something that a group like ' The Tremeloes' would sing, nothing hectic just nice and sweet.
Kathy Kirby was an English singer, reportedly the highest-paid female singer of her generation. She is best known for her cover version of Doris Day's "Secret Love" and for representing the United Kingdom in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest where she finished in second place. Her physical appearance often drew comparisons with Marilyn Monroe. Her popularity peaked in the 1960s, when she was one of the best-known and most-recognised personalities in British show business.

when I was young (in the period 1976-1979) I several times heard a song on the radio. I didn't speak any English and for me it sounded something like this:
I only remeber one line and the first part of the guitar solo I saw a man with the pistepockets on (2 times) Never knew who it was or what the title was, but the sound was (for as I can remember) something like Plastic Bertrands Ca plane pour moi, but then in English.
Thank you, so much appreciated, now alI I've got to do is to find the girl I used to enjoy listening to this song with, but I figure that's going to be a much harder task. Just joking, thanks again.
