I have this song in my head from the late 60's early 70's maybe, I,ve searched you tube and all over but
can't find it I really would like to hear it played again as it has a lot of sentimental value for me it goes something like this :-
look at me your beautiful eyes cannot hide
what i see you're hurting now deep down inside
when you walk through that door
my heart can be sure can't take anymore
so turn around before it's too late
your love is to good to lose dear
any help getting to hear this song again would be appreciated, thanks

Wow, you are not kidding, hard to find.
I searched at least 4 sites for lyrics.
The closest I came were
By: George Jones, Johnny Cash, Dean Martin

Maybe it would help if you say what kind of music it is? Is it rock, soul, blues, jazz, disco?

Hallo everyone I was still at school when i heard this song so that would make it late 60's possibly early 70's but more late 60's I think. It is easy to listen to pop and sounds like something that a group like ' The Tremeloes' would sing, nothing hectic just nice and sweet.

Kathy Kirby was an English singer, reportedly the highest-paid female singer of her generation. She is best known for her cover version of Doris Day's "Secret Love" and for representing the United Kingdom in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest where she finished in second place. Her physical appearance often drew comparisons with Marilyn Monroe. Her popularity peaked in the 1960s, when she was one of the best-known and most-recognised personalities in British show business.

when I was young (in the period 1976-1979) I several times heard a song on the radio. I didn't speak any English and for me it sounded something like this:

I only remeber one line and the first part of the guitar solo
I saw a man with the pistepockets on (2 times)
Never knew who it was or what the title was, but the sound was (for as I can remember) something like Plastic Bertrands Ca plane pour moi, but then in English.

Anybody has a clue?

I've got my pistols in my pockets boys,
I'm Alabama bound.
I've got my pistols in my pockets boys, I'm
I'm Alabama bound.
Well, I'm not looking for no trouble
But nobody dogs me 'round.

Well, I'm going to fetch my woman, people
Tri-cities here I come.
Well, I'm going to fetch my woman, people
Tri-cities here I come
'Cause she was raised up on that cornbread
And I know she's gonna give me some.

When the kid hits Alabama, people
Don't you try and dog him 'round.
When the kid hits Alabama, people
Don't you try and dog him 'round.
'Cause if you people cause me trouble,
Then I've got to put you in the ground.

Well, I was born in Mississippi
And I don't take any stuff from you
Well, I was born in Mississippi
And I don't take any stuff from you
And if I hit you on your head
Boy, its got to make you black and blue.

Well, I ride to Alabama
With my pistols out by my side
Well, I ride to Alabama
With my pistols out by my side
'Cause down in Alabama
You can run, but you sure can't hide
