AI_1984: I´ve searched everywhere for my colour chart - the one from the workshops - but cannot find it anywhere!

But, here are a few colours for you, which I´ve retrieved:

The color red has the longest wavelength and the slowest vibration,
while the color violet, at the other end of the spectrum, has the shortest wavelength and the fastest vibration of electromagnetic energy.

You´ll just have to work out the other colours in between?

How does this affect our moods? Colors emit vibrations and our eyes perceive the wavelengths.
I meant to add: Good luck with it, Sel, and let me know how you got on with the experiment?
thumbs up bouquet

bodleing2: It certainly is, so much so that I can remember my last lsd experience was 30th May 1970.
That was after spending a period of around 15 months experimenting. Before I took the drug I researched a little and found a very informative book on the subject..

LSD — The Problem-Solving Psychedelic
P.G. Stafford and B.H. Golightly

The book went into the amazing power of the drug to be able to open up the creative skills and problem solving capabilities within the individual. At the time, compared to today, very little was known about the drug and it's possibilities, particularly in the field of mental health. Even today studies are very limited due to government restrictions in trialing lsd.
From what I have seen and read recently, trials using lsd on people suffering major depression and trauma have been most encouraging. It seems that after just a couple of sessions the patients was able to come off antidepressants immediately and return to a normal life.
One patient being interviewed said it was an incredible turn around in his life after just two sessions but had to return to taking antidepressants some months later as the government had stopped all trials.
Call me cynical but that would certainly be in the interests of the pharmaceutical companies and their mass production and distribution of antidepressants.

Just a short extract from the book I mentioned....

"I think that as a result of the psychedelic experience there's a heightened sense of the drama of life, including its brevity, and a realization both of the importance of one's individual life and of the fact that a sacred task has been given to the individual in the development of the self..."

Just to make it clear, I don't advocate the taking of lsd unless it's under medical supervision, it's a very powerful and unpredictable drug. I got away with it (well almost) all those years ago, but I know a few who didn't.
laugh .. Supervision is key..drinking

Thanks for posting Conrad.
However, this is not showing how fast/slow each colour vibrates so that you can feel the colour when touching the fabric with your eyes shut.

Hello Gs...how lovely!
What kind of flowers did it have?
I don't know about this variety?

Nice to have some autumn leaves. We don't get those here.
And the smell of fallen leaves is very nice too.

Something I miss...the colours and the smells.

This is it in flower. I bought it at the beginning of the year and hope it will finally trail over the wrought iron railings. It has double in size so hope it survives the Winter. The scent when flowering is amazing in the garden

Yes colors have an effect on people.
They are even used in stores to make you feel comfy, relaxted and wanting to stay and buy more.
Studies and tests have proved that colors even have an effect on blind people.
in a meetingroom there has to be 20 procent of red, or there will be load of meetings, but little results of having the meetings.
At the butcher or grill restaurrant the use red light(s) to make the meat look better.
Chinese restaurrants use a lot of red to reax you and spend more money.
Even a prostitude use red and red light to create the same results as the Chinese restaurant, but also for the sme reason as the butcher.

Watch it you. Why do you think the tiger is sat in the garden.

Funny story re dope. Many years back in my youth we made pals with the Summer fair lads and when they left they gave me a plant. I was thrilled until someone told me it was a cannabis plant.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Just wondering—isn’t there something about “ yellow”? I think it’s considered calming, ‘ warm’ or something. ALSO, dig this: I’ve heard that when therapists give that test with the ink splat ( Rorschach ?) in other colors besides black, the result from the client differs...your thoughts?hug

I always associate yellow with optimism probably because I link it with the sun , but if you want thoughts on colour then A.I. is the one with more experience as she studies these things.

Hope that kitten is still in control.grin Bet he's grown loads and beginning to develop his character.hug

Hi. Thanks for asking about a Skedaddle. Yes, he’s grown some, and has a nice personality. He’s quite energetic, as expected, and I’m giving him more “ investigative” privileges. ( he’s really not all that ‘ destructive’, as can be common at his age (3.5 mos old). December 4 will be a “ Hallmark” day— finishing vaccines ( rabies) and the, uh, tutoring...( don’t let him in on it—ha halaugh )

Hello there...you seem to know about colours?

Red is the colour of passion and desire.
Some women like wearing red to feel more confident and... maybe..attractive?

As for colours having effect on blind people, I suppose you mean about the energy they transmit?
