You know what?? I bought a hot air fryer, an Actifry, I believe (?). Tried it a few times to see if it was worth the hype and I found that it wasn't. I think it's down in the basement somewhere, collecting dust. If I really want something deep fried, I go out and get it..------ This thread is Archived ------

If someone were to give me something to eat and not tell me what it was, I'd base the like/dislike on the taste and texture of the food. When I know what it is, my mind is 75% set to liking/not liking before I've even tasted it.For example, squid. I wouldn't eat squid even if a firing squad was in front of me.
Calamari was totally different and I could gorge myself. By the time I had it all figured out (end of the meal), it didn't make any difference.
How fickle the mind can be........

Better a Kebab or Shoarma dish, with fry's salat, some pita's.
