Those of us who are scoffed at for believing in masks always knew the benefits..I just presumed what we all knew by seeing and listening to demonstrations in the way it works that people like you had seen but didn't believe

I went by facts..My government took it serious from the get go..Both sides of the aisle were at us to do the same thing..We downloaded the covid safe app..We give name and phone number when entering premises or when in a taxi..I probably looked into it more being high risk and all that jazz.

I haven't seen any summarised information on how coronavirus is spread until now. All I knew about it, I had to google and massages varied. This one is quite convincing.I probably looked into it more being high risk and all that jazz.

Yes, that's one of the reasons I's skeptical about masks: the manner in which people wear them. Been and paddled: a lot of fresh air, physical exercise and aesthetic enjoyment. Off to bed.

I'm so glad you did your own research When you have time go to youtube..Type in why should I wear a mask and thinks like that..You will get high tech demonstrations..Hands are a must to research for covid..When you have time go to youtube and you will see high tech demonstrations of one person infected touching something in a shop ect and how that bloody spreads.
I'm a fan of soap for the hands because soap breaks down the virus on hands..Sanitiser is every where here at gym shops ect..To be honest if I was to touch something infected sanitiser wouldn't get rid of covid from my hands but washing my hands for 20 seconds with soap does the trick...When I have things delivered from the uk / usa / & China I wash my hands for 20 seconds with soap.
Sitting in a restaurant is tricky..I understand they need their business opened..Thing is wear a mask into the restaurant..Pull the mask down or take it off when seated..Yep tables are social distanced apart..The thing people need to realise is that restaurants either have air conditioning or fans circulating the air..So if there is someone infected in that restaurant those appliances circulating the air is giving all a dose of covid.

Yes it is but in my Aquafit classes at my gym we still have to social distance in the pool..We still can only have so many people in the pool which has been reduced to 20 people------ This thread is Archived ------
Somewhat similar to what I just posted in another thread. To only wear masks when needed. Most cases originated from enclosed planes, tour boats, nursing homes, beach parties, restaurants, etc. Never wearing a mask now is not too wise as it is mutating and until we definitely know what it is for sure.

I did read an internal medical article which was quite interesting, in short researchers found that individuals at the beginning of the pandemic ( March and April 2020 ) who wore no mask using only safe distancing and washing hands 23% of the study group showed unusual protective antibodies that were far stronger than normal ones indicating the infection is activated by a group activity. They suggested it's not a virus... it's a viral agent that stays in a dormant stage and is only activated in groups if aerosols are inhaled. Not as bad as touching infected hard surfaces or skin exposure. They are now studying the antibodies and seeing if certain proteins can incircle the infection and prevent it from damaging vital organs.

Use social distancing in and out of the waterWhether you’re in or out of the water, stay at least 6 feet away from people you don’t live with.
Avoid crowded swim areas, beaches, pools, water playgrounds, and hot tubs where you cannot stay 6 feet away from others....
