Happygolucky4u: Yes the thread actually spanned to 2010. You just go ahead and enjoy yourself. I just wanted to be the realist to say the unrest was here long before the US election. So it will leave but most likely will come back. Look at the thread and you can see it all in the one thread. The good the bad the flirting. It is just what it is. Us silly humans acting human. And after that thread there was a time when it got a whole lot worse. They didn't shut the threads back down. And the mods have done their best to stay on top of things and to be as fair as possible.

Happygolucky4u: As has already been posted it seems to have it times that it is really good to post on here. Tho I have not seen that in a while. And it has had its times when this has been a joy ride compared to some. I am unsure why you think the U.S. elections really have anything to do with it. Before the elections there was bickering and uncivility about other topics. You can just check out old threads to see that. It is a people problem. If you are unable to ignore and move on from posters that rub you the wrong way, or have topics you don't like etc. then the problem is you. Every response does not need a reply. If you find a thread on a topic you don't like do you continue reading it? Or close the thread and don't give it another thought? So the answer to your question is I really expect joy to return. I am unsure when or how long it will stay. I enjoy your music threads and hope you don't take this site so seriously you let things get under your skin. But it has been this way from the beginning. Because we are just mere humans acting like humans. It would just be odd if we all got a long all the time and liked everything about each other. How could one identify the good times if they never had a bad time.
