bohemianjack: I post the truth always, without having used several usernames and locations just this election cycle..
I think it's too late for you to protect your head because there's already too much damage. For the record, you lied again...you just implied I have several usernames and locations. I don't... I ONLY HAVE ONE ACCOUNT. Is this how pathetic you are because you can't post one intelligent rebuttal and lack the ability to do so. You should be embarrassed... yet you are a Biden supporter.
Not been on here much for obvious reasons but just popped in to say I've read the comments from various people.
For myself I eat what I want and have no specific dietary needs except I don't eat anything too acidic and not keen on eggs. I have never been a lover of fruit, but do eat fresh vegetables. My food intake has reduced since last year after a spell of sickness and my weight for my height and age is good. I have a varied diet of some meat ,fish and poultry. I prefer savoury to sweet but do have the occasional treat. Naughty me.lol
I am a carrier of haemochromatosis so don't need iron as I have a built in iron foundry according to my G.P. I've just had my yearly med check and for my age am very fit and well and with good skin tone so very few wrinkles. Lucky me. I take no supplements and very few pain killers [ arthritis is my one problem of late ]
I think it's all about balance to be honest and as they say "We are what we eat" so I must be doing ok as there are no signs of diabetes which is common as one gets older .
Interesting thread D Thanks.
Hello dear lady
Thanks for sharing and continue whatever you're doing, if it works for you.
In the end it's the quality of life we need, rather than the quantity.
My mother is now 96 and has no health problem either, apart from a few aches and pains.

GeneralBeacon: True my friend, especially where you live... technically conditions regarding COVID19 should be better in your country. Viruses have only one enemy... the power of nature. Not meaning if you're a vegetarian you will have a better chance of surviving which is not true... meaning if you are in your genetic birthplace nature will help you survive if you eat the things it provided you to survive with including fresh meat and assist in eventually killing off viruses unless they are man-made. Each location is different and yet people go out of the way not to listen to nature. After WWIII nature will survive... most people won't. The functionality of COVID19 only resembles a virus... but it spreads like a bioweapon and still they only identified an infection that they call COVID19 not really knowing what it is just speculating. A researcher from MIT made a pretty good point... looking at the molecular structure and sequence of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, the key part of the virus that causes Covid-19 it seems to attack ceratin blood groups more. Was this a coincidence or designed this way? If it was designed like this no diet or mask will help you in the end.
It does make me wonder GB about these covid vaccines, will a Russian vaccine work on a person from Jamaica ? their climates are worlds apart, i have no confidence in anything that made in a lab..

Some good info General, the govt here is getting all excited about the Pfizer vaccine and may have ordered 1.5 million vaccines for this country;; all depending on how tests go of course, they also say a person has to have 2 vaccines to complete the full immunization course.. Because its not a cooperative effort by all major countries it really is a money grab and a race for your almighty dollars, bling bling the word General..
Who really wants to live forever .. when it’s your time to go , you’ll go .. But if I wanted to die , then I’d get an American citizenship & die of shame !!

I read some of the internal reports and it looks pretty good so far ( 90% ) regarding vaccine efficiency, still, it will take real-world results in the field to be sure and check for any possible side effects as Pfizer is fairly good at analyzing and doing studies. Ironically Trump pushed this through and let's see if the hypocrites who bashed him will take the shot or stick to their leftist ideology and opt for the Chinese injections or nasal infusion. When injections were given during WWII to US, UK, Canadian, Australian, and NZ soldiers there were hardly any issues... I'm sure the results today will be the same, and hopefully the infection will not get worse over the winter and that spread rate will not increase in the UK and EU. There is one problem, however... only one strain is concerning doctors now. There's a virus variant, called G614, it harbors a feature that allows the virus to more easily infect cells and therefore spread more rapidly if contact is made and this hasn't changed since August 2020. May explain why there are so many new cases in the US and yet 80-90% is non-serious. Different story in the UK and EU... it seems like it's the main strain and very powerful. I think by all accounts people in NZ are safe at this point although anything can change. You only have 1 new case reported today, 48 at the border, no one in ICU, and overall pretty much where you want to be.
Biotech Expert: COVID Vaccine Announcement Was Deliberately Delayed Until After Election “Trump must be fuming.”
A biotech sector expert has suggested that the announcement of a new successful COVID-19 vaccine was deliberately delayed until after the presidential election so it didn’t boost Trump’s chances of winning.
Yesterday it was announced that a new vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech had a 90% success rate in preventing people from getting coronavirus.
Despite some skepticism over the rollout of the vaccine, some governments have suggested that it could be available as soon as next month if it gets fast track approval.
According to Barry Norris of Argonaut Capital Partners, an expert on the biotech sector, the announcement could have been made sooner and was likely delayed so that Trump couldn’t take full credit.
“There are 44,000 people in the trial with half in the placebo,” Norris told LockdownSceptics.org. “They were supposed to read out after just 32 cases in total. It was thought that the trial hadn’t yet read out because they hadn’t yet had enough infections.”
“The trial actually read out after 94 cases, so they delayed it on purpose apparently as a result of “discussions with the FDA”. This smells like they didn’t want to announce it pre-Presidential election in case the ‘good news’ helped the incumbent. Trump must be fuming,” he added.
If Norris is correct in suggesting the announcement was delayed for political reasons and that this added weeks onto the schedule of when it will be available, this suggests that lives were potentially put at risk simply because people within the pharmaceutical industry don’t like Trump.
Australians to get coronavirus vaccine from March, health minister says
Australians will get a coronavirus vaccine from March, Health Minister Greg Hunt has confirmed. Mr Hunt said Australia is "well placed" to give the green light to at least two of the four vaccines the country has bought. "We are on track to deliver vaccines to Australians, commencing March of 2021," he said. "We won't be out of this until we have a nation which has had a full vaccination programme
"But we are on track to deliver those vaccines. It's well ahead of expectations." He said approvals on the first two vaccines are being fast tracked and could be given in January "with an absolute premium on safety"
Australia has bought 134.8 million vaccines in total - enough for three times the population

You'd be crazy to take the Chinese version and maybe all the lefties should.
You'd be crazy to take any version of the vaccine from any country General, a lot of things that come out of China and the US are disasters waiting to happen.. Maybe by 2022 they might have some results with clarity..
Well, so far the Pfizer vaccine seems like the best, and it's the one to consider "if" you do take the shot... definitely not any Chinese versions. In NZ you may not need it as long as you regulate the borders and the deaths stay down. UK, Spain, Italy, etc., are a different story... their strain was a lot more potent and it is getting stronger. We won't know until March 2021 if things really change and I may opt-out altogether depending on what the new regulations will be. Stay safe.
