See my fella Sun and he will go home Tue to try to miss storms. So actual eve and day will be ignore them like usual. No family anymore to worry about. And I don't miss that rat race one bit. Or a gift that makes you wonder just how old did husbands niece think I was anyway?
KNenagh: Thanks KB, worse things happened this year.
It's tough for my mum but she'll be coming over as soon as it is save for her and I'm planning to go over before the summer.
Hope you are keeping well and have something to look forward to.
I've been quarantining myself for two weeks now, although I do in the office. I'm always masked and no one is allowed through the door of my office. I'm doing this so that I can go be with family this Christmas. And when I return to St. Louis, I will do the same, strictly quarantining myself for 2 weeks.

Great that you'll be able to see your family!
We are basically working from home since March and anyone that absolutely needed to travel could work from home. I won't be rising it with the current high figures (and probably still busy enough flights over Christmas), but once infection numbers go down and flights aren't too busy, there'll be some travelling.
Margo19991: What do you plan for Christmas during pandemic? These holidays will be different from the previous ones, I think.
yes I have planned out my Christmas. Carefully.christmas morning...out of bed have. Coffee. Back to bed. Come evening. Up make coffee. Open. Laptop. Read threads on c/s...... back to bed. Boxing. Day. Up. Open. Curtains. Look at weather close curtains. Make coffee. Then back to bed l.m really looking forward. To Christmas. Are you. ??????
Roasted chicken, green salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread stuffing, candied carrots and onion...that’s the “ plan”...just two of us...no, it’s just platonic, yes, I’m glad, she is too.

It wont be any different here where I live (Canberra Australia with a population of around 380,000) my family celebrates on Christmas eve... our Austrian tradition. Here we don't wear mask any longer and haven't for around 6 months.. restaurants are open, clubs are open etc.. public transport is fully operational.......
My family will come over to my place for Christmas (eve) dinner... we exchange gifts have a few drinky poos.. LOL.. and on Christmas day those who are partnered.. will go the other families for Christmas celebrations... And Boxing day I, with my dog, will travel to my little place down the coast and do nothing. well, probably veggie out on the beach across the road, or hang out on my porch.. and enjoy the sunshine.. for 3 or so weeks.
Kaybee50: Nothing wrong at all with a good old fashioned Christmas paddling....
My sentiment exactly. I'm calling weather forecast first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. So far it's good: +2C and 4 s/m and even some sunshine :)
Same as last year with my young type o blood and city that comes close to herd immunity by mistake putting us as the safest city in the country after months of being the hotspot. The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.

Same here .. same as any year with my "OLD" type O blood... .. and my belief is that my city also has 'the herd immunity' i know not the exact reasoning for that... personally i think it has something to do with our Urban spread.. we don't have overcrowding ...There are actually studies and Papers written regarding that..
but can you explain what you mean by The first shall be last, and the last shall be first how does that correlate with the *Beer Bug ? or should I call it the China bug.. ;)
