I have no idea, Gal... But it's pretty disturbing... And even more disturbing is, that people would be there without doing anything to clean it... Yes I have....well almost as bad. Part of Gokarna Beach, Karnataka, south west India. It seemed that the town used it to dump rubbish, it was not a pretty sight.
