Much has been said and written about how or why Covid-19 came about or why we have pandemics in general. A medical professional I spoke with recently said he felt that pandemics are just a way in which nature takes it's course - which kind of struck me as something that might have a ring of truth to it. What do you think ?

of course it is. The world is overcrowded with people who hardly have a natural enemy, except bacteria, insects, and people themselves. And the people are doing a lot of harm to mother nature, with polluting the environment. The more people, the more pollution and trash. But also more nature has to be destroyed, for every man and woman need there food, so we need more and more cattle and ground for fields with corn, soja, palmoil etc.
Today I heard on dutch television the vaccins probably only work for three months. The Netherlands a rather small, but crowded country with about 17.5 million people needs 6 months to vaccinate everybody, the vaccin only seems to work for three months, so then we never get rid of the virus unless a large group of people die.
I always thought we would get a civil war within our borders against the islamists that try to devastate our culture, now I think we are facing a third world war, against the virus.
And of course it ain't nice to lose relatives or to become ill, but somehow humanity needed this virus. The more people die, the bigger the chance for the others to survive.

A very harsh but true reality, we've had this for a year now, so it might last for a year or two more as pandemics go - surely it can't go on like the flu or HIV did because if so then we going to be in really big trouble - in RSA the second strain has proven to be far more infectious than the original virus and we are back on Level 3 lockdown. Whether the vaccine will be effective against this stain (or any others) still remains to be seen.

Going on like the common cold is exactly what will happen. The reason that the common cold is not so bad is the fact that it is common. If it was an alien virus or an alien species this would either not bother us at all, or very much destroy us all. If you're a virgin faced with the scary moment of not becoming a virgin, that's the worst bit.

Historically speaking (I mean with proof..) there has always been a “ thinning of the herd” whether disease, natural disaster, or other unpreventable circumstances, when numbers get too high for environments to support them.professor

Gaia,

The Gaia hypothesis, named after the ancient Greek goddess of Earth, posits that Earth and its biological systems behave as a huge single entity. This entity has closely controlled self-regulatory negative feedback loops that keep the conditions on the planet within boundaries that are favorable to life.

rockymarciano: It seems that most are in same kind of agreement with the posit that nature takes it's course - so how effective do you think the vaccine will be now that another strain has been identified?
A few days ago I listened to one doctor who was explaining that.

Since every person and every organism is different, each time the virus enters another person's body it mutates a little. Those mutations are small and the vaccine should cover them. But, if people keep spreading the virus, then the virus will mutate too much and the improved vaccine will have to be made. Thus, it's still very important not to get infected and infect others. That way we will keep the vaccine working and prevent the virus to mutate too much.

I think there is simply too much reported about alleged pandemics over the past 10 years.
The air we breathe, the water we drink is poisoned. Aluminum is now everywhere, substances like Phthalates and Bisphenol A can be found in the blood of every person in the western world.

Every day children starve to death and our only problem is how, blindly believing in modern science, we believe our neurosis of ever greater hubris to protect us from nature and inevitable death.

I don't mean that Covid is a lie, but a wonderful distraction.
Keep love in your hearts.

Shows how little the world has changed, if at all. This speech could have been made last week and it would have been applicable.
