There aren't many members here any more - just a bunch of regular posters and several other people who drop by now and then. I haven't seen so many members for ages. Some (once regular posters) haven't even logged in for months. Limiting people who are here would only make the forums even more empty than they are now... Maybe there would be more intelligent conversations, or giving the opportunity for a decent debate , rather than people just using every thread to post something irrelevant & off topic , just for attention seeking ?

This is my point .As soon as a topic of interest gets posted , certain members take the opportunity to exchange pleasantries and post something irrelevant to the subject in question.
It only takes about 5 posts before someone decides to divert the topic .
I’ve noticed that people stop posting , or stay completely away from the forums as a result .
This is why I mentioned for there to be a limit to the amount of times you can blog . It may make some people think before they say the first stupid thing that comes into their head .

I don't care how many posts someone writes. The thing that annoys me is those who write threads all day long the second a thought pops into their head. Useless threads that don't have a base for discussion.
