I’d say roughly 1/3 but yeh , our brain need to rest and it gives our bodies enough time to recover from the ordeals encountered during the day .

It's roughly a third but in your case I'm surprised it's as low as a half.

They say that sleeping at night is very important. We should go to sleep at least at 10 p.m. and not after midnight as we usually do. Children should go to bed at 8 p.m. A good night sleep is very important for the development of a child's brain and also for a good rest for adults.
