Haven’t seen this for a little while. I’ll start: So, this morning I made a “Breakfast Club”. Grilled some bacon, poached two eggs, sliced both Swiss and Irish Cheddar ( hello Dino..), sliced small tomato, cut lettuce and finely diced quarter of onion. Toasted three slices Rye. Tossed lettuce with onion and dab of mayonnaise, put sandwich together— lettuce/onion, bacon, Swiss, egg, toast, lettuce/onion, cheddar, egg, tomatoes, top toast, cut, chow. It was great. Dinner will be lemon- dill-garlic salmon steak, Brussels sprouts and feta in puff pastry, green salad. Dessert will be a hot buttered brandy...waiter

That sounds like “toad-in-the-hole”, but of course there are variations. In a movie Cher starred in, where she slaps the guy and says, “snap out of it”—I forgot the title—she’s in the kitchen frying bread in a skillet and presses the center in to drop and fry an egg— I believe she says “toad-in-the-hole”, but I have a British cookbook that makes it look like sausage, egg, and cheese is baked in a scone, called, “toad in the hole”, as well.dunno

I didn't cook my own meal today ... I got half a roast chicken and chips (home made) from my local served with succulent cooking juices for 4€ (take away) ...
Not worth turning my oven on or peeling my own potatoes for that price cheering

I thought you was a vegetarian wow Chicken is mostly what I eat...my speciality is chicken breast stir fry

Chopped chicken breast
chopped onion
chopped veg
curry sauce..korma or tikka
a wok
veg oil
30 minutes cooking time

First heat veg oil in the wok
then add the onions
then the chopped breast meat until brown
add the veg
add the curry sauce
watch it bubble and enjoy the smell
taste to check it's cooked
serve with rice...chips or roast potatoes

Sounds delicious ...
I'm vegetarian a lot of the time ... sometimes I'm even almost vegan although I still eat eggs so not fully vegan ..
Right now I'm having a phase of craving meat so I'm eating it but still not cooking it at home ... the smell of the raw meat I'm not so keen on ...
