Selenite: I was contacted by a very white American guy here on CS who "really was attracted to my smile" blah blah blah .. On his profile it states that he will not date Latino/Hispanic women ... When I asked him about that he answered that he had friends of every culture and background but "when it comes to my girlfriend/wife I have standards"!!!!
I could not believe what I was reading! Totally outraged!
So I told him I'm not "white", I have olive skin and I'm Hispanic ... he replied he would make an exception because he was very attracted ... He couldn't understand why I didn't feel honoured that he should make an exception for me (just me, not the rest of Hispanic people ) or why I wouldn't continue conversing with him ... He didn't understand he has insulted my whole culture and lineage and family and relatives by implying we are "substandard" and hopes one day I'll understand his standpoint and what he means
It's very scary to think there are people like that walking the earth ...
Well, I for one KNOW you’re beautiful all over / inside and out. You know, if I thought I had a snowball’s chance, I’d change to straight for you— (even if I had to get hypnotized or electrical- shock treatment or severe camp ! I could not believe what I was reading! Totally outraged!

Then there was this guy, (who blocked me btw) because I said his beliefs were draconian and his wife probably left due to the vise like grip, he claims on his profile, he had on her life i.e. what clothes to wear, how to do her hair, no cosmetics, who to befriend, his desire for her to be seen and not heard. Yes, I know what you’re saying. I do believe that we (some of us) fall in love with the spiritual being in the person, as I did with a lady in the 1980’s.....”LOVE” is more powerful than gender.
