Inthewoods: I watch the DW channel, from Germany... a few days ago they had a road test on this all electric car...
2021 Audi e-tron GT ... ... The headlights look really cool coming on...
Real Nice vehicle. I think this is an Audi Q5 hatchback which is an All-electric Audi A4 on stilts. I read Its two electric engines pump out 400 horsepower having a total of 489 pound feet of torque.
My 2015 Audi Turbo diesel has about 420 pound feet of torque. Im sticking with my 2015 Audi which Volkswagon paid off for me in the diesel-gate settlement because they advertised their diesels put out zero emissions.

I like the turbo diesels, good on fuel, long lasting and lots of torque... especially when the dealer pays it off... Why did Volkswagen stop selling pickups in the US? ... They should start again, and put your turbo diesel motor in it... what we will start seeing is all electric pickups in a few years, gas powered vehicles will be part of the past... Remember this Diesel VW pickup? I think they got very good mileage...
Pox on electric cars. Ask the owners in Texas how great they are now. Rolling brownouts for next couple days. Seems grid is overworked due to need for heat. But, sun isn't out so solar is gone. And the wind turbines froze and stopped. Maybe they need coal or gas fired power plants? Go plug that electric car in.
hi. Gal. My friend years ago. Bought a Volkswagen. Beetle. He had to open a window before he could close. The door. ...it. Was that air. Tight. I joke not. Pete.

I believe that. I liked the original vw beetle with the rear engine.
Butin: gal. I.ll never understand why are American cars so big.......across and length.......????????
Size is what Its all about parking. Size is always important. Lets look at movies. If you are married and you go to a drive in movie you watch the movie so the size of the car is not important. But, if you Go to a drive in theater when you aren't married Americans used to like a lot of room to fool around. Same goes of you go down to a river on a date, you want a lot of room in your car during submarine races. Size matters.
Ive often heard that one of the main “drawbacks” of all-electric cars is that they can’t go long distances on a “charge”. Now, I’m not anywhere near being an engineer (see, I don’t think I know EVERYTHING::laugh: ) but isn’t it possible that the “cell” could regenerate simply because the car is moving When I was a kid, I had a bicycle that generated its own power to operate both a headlight and a tail-light. Just wondering...
