Wow, too many great guitarists to pick from - plus too many genres. Then you have to choose between bass (classical upright or electric), lead, rhythm, and steel guitars.

I listen to this song fairly frequently not only because Jaco Pastorius is an absolutely amazing jazz bassist, but because the freedom in which he plays these funky harmonics on his bass makes me feel freaking librated in my soul.

Ronnie James Dio teamed up with Ritchie Blackmore in Rainbow and later went solo. One of his guitarists was Doug Aldrich who could easily play Blackmore licks and had a more melodic style.
He usually plays a Gibson Les Paul but in this video he's playing a Fender Stratocaster because it's a song Dio did in Rainbow.

Yeas they do. Ringo Starr though fooled a lot of people for a long time in believing he was right handed. He did a good job playing a drum set for right handers while he is left handed.left handed guitar players and drummers, look funny to me...
