I would eat it, I also ate dog. I love cows, still I also love their meat.
By not eating it, the animal is killed for nothing.
And that's exactly what those stupid Americans did with the buffalo in the 19th century.
Kill the buffalo, and let the meat rott away, just to take care that the indians would starve to death.

Think about that before you refuse to eat meat from an animal that's already killed.

I had fried and breaded alligator fritters once at a New Orleans style restaurant in Denver, Colorado. It was like a tough chicken fried steak. I also had a black bear steak once. They say bear steaks are tough but the one I had was not because it was marinated in teriyaki sauce for 3 days in the refrigerator.

No never tried the rocky mountain oysters. I had the Maine black bear steak at a 4 star resort in NYS where I worked. I also had reindeer stew twice served with sliced mint leaves in Norway and tried a piece of emu meat which tasted and looked like beef steak at a food festival in Denver.
