Myrta: Yes, it's a pandemic. It doesn't need your endorsement.

And yes, sometimes the government keeps you safe. Just ask Gov. Whitmer. The FBI saved her from the Wolverine Watchmen degenerates who thought they could kidnap her and put her on trial, in a delusional effort to overthrow the state government.
you mean that Kidnap-Scheme her and the FBI thunk up to smear some unspecified "extreme Right"?rolling on the floor laughing

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but "Spanish flu" did not originate in Spain. It was an H1N1 virus of unknown origin. (Sock puppet should have read further.)

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and here it fails as a defense for nationalistic bias.

But hey, go back to googling various diseases. Maybe some facts will penetrate your little pointy heads.

No one said it did

There is no sock puppet account on this thread. If there was I would know about it. detective It appears the paid shill, needs a proof reader

laugh Thou shall not ever use a search engine when attempting to rationalize with a Fabian Marxist... They get "offended" and have cone- head flashbacks

Historically, it's believed the Spanish flu
originated in *China*.

Returning troops, toward the end of
World War One, brought it to the U.S..
Medically, all that could be determined at
the time, was that all, or most,of the
infected troops, had been through Spain.
The only common denominator in
1917-1918.

It'd be nice, if libs would actually read a
book, instead of taking history lessons
from an Stephen Colbert.

On schedule for my second jab later this week, and it will be a relief, with reservations about issues like the variants.

I'll be watching the unfolding of the J&J vaccinations, envying those people who don't have to feel in suspense waiting for a second appointment which could be derailed by anything from extreme weather to logistical errors.

I'm curious about further coronavirus vaccinations. How many variants will there be? Will coronavirus join the list of jabs we need every fall?

Interesting that Donald and Melania Trump got their vaccines in January, so they knew what Trump denied--that having the illness does not confer immunity.

We can't be too careful. It's in our own best interest to continue following the advice of Dr. Fauci.heart wings

Covid...the China virus due to the fact that that is where the first cases were reported. Simple.
Now the iffs... Shoulder injury caused by poorly trained vaccinators who do the shot wrong. Must be so far from the top of the shoulder to not hit bone.frustrated
I heard a call on scanner...woman throwing up, got second shot a week ago. Friend of my guy who went to get his shot. Then got notified he had been near someone who tested positive for covid. And heard that if you get the shot while having covid, you will get super sick. so why aren't they testing before the shot to see if someone has it? A Dr who died a week after his second shot.
How about the memorial in the Wisconsin capital for the 500k who died last year of covid. How many people died of other causes? Guess they don't matter.dunno

Draegoneer: In the U.S., cases down about 75% or more.

mortality rate? maybe around 1.5 or less.

screw the vaccine. it's not a pandemic. people will die every year no matter what. it will vary by what infection, health condition(s), and/or disease.

so many people will do and believe what ever they're told. The rest know government can't keep you safe from any thing, especially yourselves and them.
The Scientists who are very intelligent do not know more than you. Vaccinations have been around for years keeping us healthy from Polio, Measles, Mumps etc. We need herd immunity sir to get this Pandemic under control. This is not trampling on your rights to expect people to get a vaccination and wear a mask until we can eradicate this dreaded virus.

This is not political to expect everyone to protect their families and other people by getting it. It is going to be mandatory as more and more businesses understand the vast spreading of the Covid-19 and the fact Pizer is FDA approved now. The process has been slow but a lot of naysayers spewing backlash which is total nonsense
