If one follows these recommendations, we would do nothing all day but eat! Now to get real. Chia seeds top the list for fiber. 34.4 grams to an ounce. Now THAT I could manage. Or air popped popcorn, 14.4 per cup. Even lentils at 7.3 a cupful or kidney beans at 6.8. I wish those people who come up with healthy diets lived in the real world. I for one, know what would happen if I ate 5 apples a day...for days. And the idea to eat 3-5 servings of fruits and veggies a day. Of course, they don't say what a serving size is. or we could drink about 30 bottles of ensure a day for that kind of protien and you’d alao get about 3000 calories per day as well from drinking it.
I eat the Quaker Oats oatmeal for breakfast, it has 4 grams per serving. I use 4 scoops (about 1 cup) per bowl, add 12 fl. oz. of water, about 1 table spoon of cinnamon (helps prevent diabetes), and about 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger (helps with titanites). heat for 2 mins. mix well, and good to eat.

Totally concur. Chia seeds are deadass easy to get fiber from eaten first thing in the morning for cereal. Tamarind contains 6 grams of fiber, and I can so soooo easily eat 5 or more in one setting. It tastes like candy. Between the tamarind, spinach, and strawberries/blackberries I'm pretty good getting my daily dose.
