Friskyone: When going out on their first date, is running a background check before the date?
Is that being nosey/spying or does it make you feel safer for yourself.
Do you admit to doing it or keep that to yourself?
I have never done it before the first date because I made sure to meet someone in public. If he said something during that first date that made me uncomfortable I would then do a background check. You have to assume that they are checking you out. I wish I had done a checkup on several guys but that's over and done with a long time ago.

It's definitely not spying.
I've personally not done that. The person may feel violated. But these days, you never know.

i haven't done it, but looking back it would have been good if i knew about their background more. it's all fun and games until you're the one seen with your pants down.

I agree, but my dating days are over now anyway. If I did do it, I definitely wouldn't tell them.

Probably not. In the Soviet Union a man was shot and killed for collecting stamps and white men in the west will be criminalised in a similar way. But if it was a Lebanese taxi driver with proven dirty hands, they will throw the evidence away amidst calls for all white men to be placed on a 6pm curfew.
tomcatty: Why bother as most guys, myself especially, will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, you can believe everything I say
In regard to the net I gave up because I was stupid to believe everyone was honest..Won't be able to get a lie past me face to face..I'm exceptionally talented reading people when it's face to face

That's why I've left the men to all the woman on the net to deal with..I'm useless when it comes to men on the internet
It's one of them really. The spying says here's a relationship that should have been over before it started. And maybe they should be. When a criminal background check stops saying more about you than it does about them. Like London you reach a critical mass where people really are that awful, valid to be a loveless husk.

I expect meeting a nice girl that has been nosing around about me don't trust me. When she don't trust me now, who will say she will trust me in the future. She's just jealous without any reason, have had such a relationship in the past, never again.
