I have a family plan with them and everytime I change anything, they add another 2 years to "my contract". I am thinking about just paying the 375 dollars and going to another phone company. any one else have problems with verizon.

I gave up on contracts and went with a Tracfone from Walmart.
It works for me. I just have to buy minutes every 3 months and they accumulate if I don't use them. You can also buy minutes for an entire year. It's pay-as-you-go with no contract to worry about having to get out from under.

I feel for ya kelly. I had 2 cell phones with verizon 1 for personal and 1 for business and it was the worse service I ever recieved. I went with alltell if they are available in your area you should check them out. Its been a world of difference to me.

I agree with Abra. When my cingular contract expired I went with Net10. I don't use my cell much anymore, so the pay as you go deal works really well for me. And to be honest, the coverage is better than Cingular.

had att aka cingular they jacked the bill by saying calling plan ran out and charged minute to minute
now have had altel they treat me good 900 nation wide 2 lines and 10 numbers to any other phone company and free altel to altel
screwed up on nene's phone number and ran up over 700 $ bill and they just took it off for 20$ administration cost
i have no plans on changing any time soon
