Incan dig it. I wonder though how many people loose a kidney or suffer unrecoverable kidney damage in Saudi Arabia during this hot weather period caused by lack of hydration during ramadan.

The fast is recommended only to healthy people. Those who cannot observe the fast due to health problems are excused. I used to do it when I was younger but now that my whole digestive tract is out of whack my doctor advised against it.

Cavalero: Not in Jaffa but I did pass by the grand mosque in Kigali, Rwanda. When the call rang out I instinctively stopped, put my hands on my belly and bowed my head until the call was done. My ears rang a bit but it was worth it!!
i couldn’t hear the surf break against the Mediterranean shoreline for a few moments after prayer silenced. I thought later why don’t they hint whats coming by tapping gently on something in the prayers recording before it starts. Quite the experience though.------ This thread is Archived ------

You can pick up the monthly prayer schedule at any mosque, it's very accurate to the minute. Then you know when the call is about ring out every day.
