--Kindness ( the way she treats others is the way she will eventually treat me )
--Physical Appearance ( The way she takes care of herself shows how much self-esteem she has)

Being able to laugh together/understand each other and kindness towards each other are pretty good places to start imo. It doesn't matter what he looks like really because those traits will increase his attractiveness (physical and emotional) no end...
