So, there’s this new fellow who tries to get along. The other employees aren’t really helping much, but he comes in with a happy heart and friendly greetings every morning. Twice he is asked to the manager’s office. “We’re happy to have you on board, but there are lots of complaints. You talk too much. People don’t want to be bothered—you’re too gregarious,,,” So, the poor schmuck, needing his job, tones it way down. He only nods and smiles now, sits bu himself in the lunchroom, and only speaks when first spoken to. He is asked to the manager’s office. “The other employees are upset. You don’t seem to want to talk to them. You don’t sit with them at lunch, and now, they’re complaining you’re not a team player”.
NO— minding your own business doesn’t always work...
It certainly would be peaceful to mind your own business if you were a journalist. Let's say the Renaissance was just something that happened to other people.
That's true. On. Here. Don't side with thos. Who have been born into. Anger and hate.just stick with. Thos Who enjoy the now............ ........the whole idea. Is to come on. Here to enjoy one's self.........jmo
King James Bible Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

pedro27: True or False...?

Mostly false to my estimation as in most victims of crime would have been minding their own business until they were suddenly and rudely interrupted by someone in need of committing a crime, even if out of boredom.

Theres a saying about ‘all it takes for bad things to happen is for good men to do nothing’ or something like that...
If you witness a hostile parent being mean (so obvious no one would argue) to a little child, are you guilty of not minding your own business if you try to stop/ prevent it? Gosh, the more I read this thread topic, the more holes in the possible answers I see. The crowd trying to stop Derek Chauvin were told “to mind their own business”. Were they? This situation has many ifs, ands, but’s, and therefores.

False, You can mind your own bussiness, doesn't mean others do the same. We've seen that in the Netherlands lately. People just minding their own bussiness and suddenly the taxcompany accused them of Fraud, destroying whole families. Also the taxcompany was accused and found guilty of ethnic profiling.
