Had to google that one..The definition of craic is hard to pin down. In its simplest form of the word is slang for fun and enjoyment, but the true meaning embraces the Irish culture and means something far greater than just a good time. True craic requires great company and lively conversation where everyone is involved.

Up on this side we use if far more i think, like we say what's the craic = how are you, or is there anything happening, but in general it mean fun and frolics... On bars you see "Craic agus Cheol = Fun and music, spellings a bit off as I'm eating a wee cream bun, but I think you get the gist..The definition of craic is hard to pin down.
