I lived in several towns in Morris County for many years and Randolph is the snobbiest town of all towns in Morris County. They aren't necessarily "commies" but they are rich people. My thought is you don't need a school calendar to know what holiday it is. If the school calendar says "day off" then that is just to let parents know that there is no school that day.
Your home calendar or phone calendar will call the holidays out by name.
