My day was good too Merc until I walked into one of my fav clubs for a swim. They gave me grief for not wearing my mask. Now, today Is one day short of when mask wearing, social distancing, and other covid precautions and restrictions are lifted and officially over where I live. I have had a wonderful morning Gal
.... I was < 50 ft from my fav lap lane, which I do not share, and they gave me serious grief for forgetting to wear a mask.

Don't be upset about that..The thing is gym's don't make the rules..We have to go buy Australia fitness who are in charge of all gyms..If gyms don't abide by instructions they can be closed down and given a hefty fine in a heart beat...As soon as my gym opened up here health authorities came to our premises without notice..They went over every inch of our huge outlet with a fine tooth comb..In fact they arrived twice without notice..My Gym received a gold stamp which is the highest of the highest award when it comes to fitness Australia..... We still have to social distance at our gym..Masks are no longer required..When restrictions are lifted that doesn't mean your out of the danger zone..The virus is with us all no matter the low numbers..We still have spikes here..If Americans become blase about restrictions lifted don't be surprised if you fo down in lock down again

If you have your own lap lane to swim in I have no clue why you need to wear a mask in a chlorinated pool..The virus can't survive in a chlorinated pool...If your pool is outside that's much safer than pools which are indoor..Reason being people talking breathing hard ect....Where as I do classes in a pool I don't have a lap lane to myself..We lowered the amount of participants per class & we social distance..My country is way more strict when it comes to Covid compared to your country..I'm possible to swim with a bloody face mask for starters..Swimming laps of the pool ain't going to spread anything..Where as in my case my class we're standing jogging running ect------ This thread is Archived ------
