Some are interesting, while a fair few are downright icky. But assuming that one can *start* a group, that could be interesting. The only fly in that soup is that (on my browser at least) you don't see links to CS GROUPS.
Perhaps the Mods / Coders / could put a GROUPS link up there along with all the rest. I might even start one if it has a fair shot of becoming known, so people can join.

Your thoughts?
The Groups option is under the "More" heading on the far right at the top.
You will see....Movies, Books, Quizzes, More. Click on More and a drop down menu will come up.
The Groups/Group Forums have pretty much conked out.
In theory, not a bad idea ... It's a matter of how to get members interested enough to post there and/or create Group topics, etc. on a more regular basis.
Seems a dud in comparison to the forums & blogs.
Maybe if the tabs weren't hidden in a drop down menu ...

Well, from someone that was a group moderator or like an OP, I initiated it,sent invites, created the intro and posted the welcoming comment.
It was like many groups already there in that a reasonable sized group can occur but because time zones create gaps in responses due to the split of half online and half offline it is random at best, or if some persons are trying to get dates and others are platonic the same issues exist- it is a snail paced version of blogs. There is NOT a notification that a comment was made, so you guess. The OP can dictate some terms but I think something was required if you passed the baton to someone else as a mod.I also think the comments could not be deleted or only the OP could..things found out by trial and error.I am pretty sure it is shows up on your profile, along with blogs or comments, tags as your history(and no limit to how many groups you've joined).Maybe the invite part was tricky too.I don't recall if once you are a member you can send out invites too. I chose my category listing carefully based on this research: some categories have so many that are similar or if it is too unique or too much of a sub-category it might be somewhat specialized and then do you want joiners or just experts. Best Wishes!
Bohemian Rapsody, i think it dunn work cos folks need the feel of an audience, most often. That is why Forums internationale and blogs work. BUT if the group was say closed (and it ain't, all can read it) then we could talk openly about all there. THAT could have been a good extra feature. But it ain't so, Bohem, forgetabaoutit. I tried some grouping lol back when, as Rose here, it had to be given up cos it died down.
