I am being honest when I say Motorcycles are my God. I have studied almost every brand ever made and am quite capable of maintaining motorcycles finally So without shooting anyone down or anything I will honestly say that motorcycles have kept me going throw all the tough times. Oh and have I had them
The old East Indian tale speaks of 5 blind men encountering an elephant for the first time. The one touching the ear proclaimed that an elephant was like a fan, the tail, a rope, the trunk, a hose, the leg, a tree.
Each was correct, as to one aspect of the elephant, but not the whole. Perhaps the Christian concept of God is but one aspect of a greater thing.
It's a very old parable that has crossed many religions but recently in the 19th century American poet John Godfrey Saxe created a poem, with a final verse that explains that the elephant is a metaphor for God. Many different metaphors have been linked to this story for well over two thousand years.
In the Canki Sutta the Buddha uses it to describe sectarian quarrels....
"When the blind men had each felt a part of the elephant, the king went to each of them and said to each: "Well, blind man, have you seen the elephant? Tell me, what sort of thing is an elephant?"
"O how they cling and wrangle, some who claim For preacher and monk the honored name! For, quarreling, each to his view they cling. Such folk see only one side of a thing."

I agree.
And thus, my own inquiry, including examination of many religions and archeological discoveries, which has stretched for some years now.
Ultimately, I think there is Good and there is Evil. I just try my best to be on the side of Good, but understand also, it is a struggle and I am far from perfect.
I try not to convince people they should be motorcycling. I know it is not for everyone. Motorcycling is very risky and one needs to go above and beyond defensive driving. I'm on 36years doing it and so far have not been hit but this is by far the worst year for close calls. I don't blame it on my god I blame it on cellphones and the Plandemic and these young drivers are terrible. I fix as best as I can.

I always find it quite remarkable how precisely many people keep God inside His box...
It has been abundantly clear to me for decades that He gets to decide how to do things
For me , God is energy , the infinite ocean of energy from which all definite forms have been born including us. So spirit in us came from that infinite ocean of energy and now is imprisoned in this limited body and mind. If you free it then you will get to know God.
