What does that mean ? Freedom to kill the elderly and vulnerable??
Have the government given up on us , considering we’re having a 3rd wave here & COVID cases are in the increase .

Discuss. wave

As I mentioned in a previous post , 60% of hospitalised COVID cases are from those who’ve had both vaccines .
So what do the government do .. open up clubs & pubs & indoor venues & our PM stated that clubs will only let in people with a COVID passport as from September. Is he for real ?
Didn’t he learn from the mistakes the Netherlands made ?

Wasn't there a study, done there in
the UK, showing the Delta variant
had only a 0.08% mortality rate
among the unvaccinated?
While the same study showed a
significantly higher mortality rate
among those who are fully vaccinated.

I loathe the virtue signalling.
But, I am fully vaxxed.

The problem is , hospitalisations are on the increase , which invariably means that people who have had various operations cancelled, or pushed back , will bare the brunt of this sudden flow of inpatients from the pandemic .

As well as, the many who will be
furloughed from their jobs.

It'll crush an economy already
weakened by previous lockdowns
and closures.

Either given up on, or happy to play dice with, people's health/lives doing a very dangerous experiment.

Long Covid is only really making itself known now as well and the long term costs/implications of that are yet to be fully appreciated.. Why he couldn't at least have said to keep the masks on, is beyond me. It's such a minor inconvenience, I'm sure most would have been happy to oblige.

I've heard (on the radio) that UK children haven't been vaccinated yet either. He wants them to have herd immunity". He actually wants to expose every child in the country to a virus , just so they can develop herd immunity. Has he not given any thought to what he's risking and the potential long term implications for their health. Apparently (could be wrong here) it's the young ones who're most likely to suffer from long covid too (no idea what was meant by "young"). If I were a UK parent I'd be furious. I'm so so glad I'm not English and stuck with his lunacy.

And oh yeh.... "let the bodies pile up" ???? what is wrong with him?? The man is mad and needs locking up for what he's doing..

Not forgetting Brexit and the effect that's having on people as well.

The U.K. is going to be right ol' mess by the time Covid, Brexit and Boris are done with it...

The problem is that this government always act too late .
You would have thought they would have learnt their lessons by now . They knew of the Indian delta variant was a potential issue and when it arrived in Britain, what did they do ?
Absolutely nothing. Allowing 100 daily flights from India .

The vaccine is a complete waste of time , or at least the ones on the market are .
As with the people who’ve have natural antibodies, there is no timeframe for the immunity of the vaccines .
They promised us that the vaccine was our saviour…. If that we’re the case , why after contacting the virus & having both vaccines, is Boris in self isolation?

No vaccine will prevent you from being infected, it's will just weaken it's effects if you do get it.

Boris was in isolation because of his close contact with some other MP. That's all . NOT because he was infected. I believe he tested negative there earlier today.

Ah come on, be sensible...if the vaccine is a complete waste of time do you really think Governments would be wasting money, time and effort trying to buy them up ? And what of the scientists etc working with it, breaking their backs to get it made and out on the market?Do you really think we wouldn't have heard from them by now, all shouting its a farce, a lie, a waste of time? Seriously??

I think you might be just saying that as well to get some sort of reaction....scold stirrer laugh

Population in England are only 68% vaccinated..you need at least 80 % or more of population to be vaccinated..Need to stop dangerous lies & propaganda about those who have been vaccinated..It's this kind of trash that stops those who maybe thinking about getting vaccinated...The truth of the matter is this..A person who has been vaccinated will come in contact with someone infected with Covid who han't been vaccinated..The vaccinated person might feel off having contracted Covid but will shed the virus onto those not vaccinated..Your hospitalisations are not those who have been vaccinated..

Works the same way with those whom are vaccinated against the flu..You get jabbed to travel overseas..You get your kids jabbed against childhood illnesses and so on

One other thing..If you have already had Covid and recovered you may have some natural immunity to contracting the disease again..However because this virus is new it's not clear how long natural immunity might last.

One more thing …
The government is categorising different countries in a traffic light formation.. green being relatively safe and red being too dangerous to travel .
Who are we to talk , when we have one of the highest, if not the highest, rates of infections world wide ? doh
