Good spot,Nobody nowhere, moskitoes but I pitched the tent in a open sandy area in the sun.less moskitoes. Bug jacket no repellant (I ain't spraying anything that kills bugs on my skin) Took a couple walks to the river. Made coffee in the mornings. Made friends with one raven( we yacked for awhile) and a bunch of Monarch butterflies. Butterflies are very smart for a bug.Seen 2 Grouce one Red tailed Hawk and 3 fresh moose tracks. This morning the Raven Cawed Hi to me. I know Ravens a bit and 3 caws mean (good Hi) something like that. This Raven was fun as I tried to imitate his changing calls for half an hour. Sweety even told me when he was leaving!!! It was a nice experience!
One more thing I set up a fire but I didn't light it cause of the near full moon was plenty bright and I had a limited supply of drinking water for personal use. I will be back
3 days alone in the bush. I would have lit the fire if I could extinquish it cause I know how fast one can get out of control. I stopped a grass fire in that area but I had to be quick and I am quick/sharp and if you don't believe me.
I was momma to one Raven till he or she could fly. It was only a month but that bird was so smart and so sweet it was amazing. I saved another one with a dislocated wing and when he or she recovered came to me to thank me. I even asked a Raven in a basic way to help me with a pigeon problem and it got rid of them for me at 4 in the morning but it worked. I love Ravens and if anyone has a Raven problem and hate them consider their intelligence and try to make friends with them cause they are game for your disapproval.
