Hallo folks !! wave

My question today for you all is that ,

How Authentic And Trustworthy Statistics Really Are , Do You Think !!??? hmmm

For example , here is this link..

~:text%3DHere%2520are%2520the%252010%2520countries,Lesotho%2520(82.70)&ved=2ahUKEwjX3bGA1oLyAhUDyDgGHTj9DnAQFjABegQIAxAF&usg=AOvVaw3fylj_2GmBXyTcbVfTQNTs

Now , if you will search by this link , you will find the data and records about the countries world wide , based upon Rape Crime Rate (the percentage was calculated by the ratio between the population and the count of the crime) ...

What is shocking in this latest statistics about countries ranking by Rape Rate world wide is that , many 'DEVELOPED Country' in fact showing higher rate of Rape Crimes comparing to other 'UNDERDEVELOPE Country' !!!
It's really surprising because , the perception of common people is exactly opposite !!!! We tend to think that 'DEVELOPED Country' s are safe for women !!!
As mentality of people and the law and order system in 'DEVELOPED Country' suppose to be more progressive and enlightened !!!!!

But
This Statistics DO NOT Support that idea !!!

So
I am asking you all the question again...

How Authentic And Trustworthy Statistics Really Are , Do You Think ?

Feel free to share your opinions in regard...
Have a nice time...

Stats can be out by a mile at the best of times Tanz, i think there are people out there that always fill out stat forms all the time.. and there are people that have nothing to do with stats, there's online stat forms here that encourage people to fill them out to win prizes;; not the best way to get real honest answers..

Not opening a Google link.

But in the case of rape. Each country is different. In 2nd and 3rd world countries, people are less likely to report it, for a variety of reasons, including the definition it uses, the culture, the stigma, the lack of justice/corruption, the religion and traditions etc.. And also population and demographics.

Example:
The 3 largest counties (Russia, Canada, USA), may appear to have a lot of one particular crime.. but the population ratio, must be taken into account as well as the justice system ... And unfortunately Political Correct.. intentionally missleading data.
Example:
High infant mortality in USA. Shocking....BUT... When you search it or read between the lines, it says, IN the USA, (because of poor prenatal care, nutrition and mothers are too young), the majority are NOT American citizens, many.. many... arrive pregnant intentionally, and there are more children having children, (also foreigners) and unfortunately child brides and incest victims, (also foreigners) ... that also go unreported.

I am sure crime stats are also misleading in all First world countries, especially those targeted for mass migration by the 2nd & 3rd world that does not assimilate, to the First world culture.

It came to my mind too.. Obviously the data was about recorded crimes only...

So I guess the basic question remains the same... How Authentic and Accurate the Statistics are !! dunno

Statistics can be easily taken out of context. If you were to swear at me 133 times in a hour you need to wash your mouth out, but if you were to swear at me 133 times in 7 years you probably have the patience of a saint. Either way you swore at me 133 times.

Or in politics both sides want to play down the numbers who are vaccinated or infected so that the death rate appeared to be comparatively worse. There's been a 500% increase in screwing people with numbers, you can rely on that statistic along with a 500% increase of indifference to truth and justice.

Situations aren’t always decided this way. For example, in a hospital or nursing home setting, if a controlled substance is missing, the lowest possible license-holder is suspected FIRST— the medication aide, then the medical-assistant/pharmacy tech, then the practical nurse, then the Registered Nurse, then the Physicians Assistant, then the physician. Statistically, however, the diversion is more often than not in the higher licenses (I’ve followed this trend for years...it’s TRUE).. yet the system continues to assume, to start, anyway, that the lower staff is more likely to have diverted, even though records prove otherwise. “You know what” slides downhill...

Exactly !
People are often so preoccupied with their predetermined assumption , that they can not accept the clear yet unexpected shocking truth presented right infront of them as Statistics ...

So what they mostly do is , they only Accept those Statistics which goes in Favour of them and try to find Loopholes in other Statistics which goes Against their Biased Perception...

And as a result , the whole system of statistics start to look like more questionable while it's may not be the case actually ... thumbs up
