As far I know , CS Do has that option , somehow... You can block everyone who has sent you mail...
There is a blocking option below all the mails sent by every individual member...
From there you can block every mail sender individually if you want...

Seriously, if there is someone I wish to talk to from the forums that has mail filters I'll let them know via a post that I wish to message. If that doesn't work then oh well.
Most forum sites had the feature you suggest. I don't doubt this one had it at one time as well. There's a much better chance of features being taken away than added.

This Thread is totally based upon my personal idea and opinion...
Since I have been active here on CS , specially when I started to visit the forums , many times I have noticed a common issue with many different users...
I have noticed that on Forums or Blogs , often people mentioned to other posters that , they have tried to communicate with them via personal mail option (for some reasonable reason according to them) , but have failed due to the Personal Mail Blocking System...
Though I know , this Personal Mail Blocking System is very effective in order to prevent users from being harassed by some specific person or group of people , I agree that this system is very much needed and I myself totally support this system...
But...
The problem with this system is the current setting , as far I have observed...
As , when people set Block Parameters , by Location or Age or Relationship Status or Education or Religion or Ethinicity or Appearance etc.. , they often by default block a large number of people automatically...
Now , the problem is , because of this Default Setting , users can not communicate personally by mail with any specific user even if they are willing to do it ... And open Forum or Blog is not suitable to have personal conversation simply because of privacy reason...
So , What could be the solution ?
Well... I personally have an idea..
How about introducing a new Feature as Mail Buddy List or Friend List or something like that !?!?!
In this Feature , users will have an option to Send and Accept/Add and Reject/Eliminate Friendly Mailing Request from other users Specifically... And those Specific Users , Who will be Added or Included into that List , will be able to Send and Receive Personal Mails To/From other users (As Long as they will Remain Added in that Mailing Friend List) , Despite of Being Blocked by Default Block Settings ...
I also understand that , most probably CS Authority won't find this suggestion worthy enough to make much effort to imply it , as , like many other sites , CS also is suffering with very less productivity issues (only a few genuine and active members and most of them with a higher age range and thus making it not so productive as dating site) , but still I just stated it as my Personal opinion..
I would like to know , what all you other members may think about it !!

A couple of ideas: If getting tons of mail from a specific region, you can block THAT region— not the absolute best, because there could be some genuine good people you’ll miss, but, can’t have everything. Another thought: as unwanted mail trickles in, block that PERSON. Gets tedious, I know, but on this kind of internet appliance, you take the bad with the good. There is no way the structure of CS can mollycoddle every individual’s custom order, FFS! It’s free....like a radio or television, just switch channels. Come on, micro-manage your own usage, stop thinking that every specific thing you want can be accommodated. At one time they had the friends list on here. Your friends actually would show up on your profile page. It left about the time they got rid of the chat rooms and instant messaging.

Typically there were few advantages to having a friend list other than bypassing filters. I was on one one site that had private chat rooms only friends could see. That was very cool. However, otherwise, they always seemed sorta pointless.------ This thread is Archived ------
