A song influenced by the Vietnam War.

"Welcome home, the war is over
Welcome back, the coast is clear
Welcome home, O Johnny soldier
We treat you here just like they treat you there"

you need to get your head sorted
"Don't say Australia doesn't have blood on their hands with the aboriginals. Before acusing me of the things a small group of rich people did 200 years ago"!

I didn't say anything about Australia's treatment of the Aboriginal peoples so don't worry I didn't, if you ever get to learn Dutch history you'd find the Dutch in 1606 Dutch were the first Europeans to visit Australia.
Willem Janszoon mapped part of the Gulf of Carpentaria in 1606 and was the first European to set foot on Australia soil. Janszoon was followed by Dirk Hartog in 1616 and Abel Tasman in 1642 and 1644.

I never accused you of anything or your family of anythingdoh

PeKaatje: I've been in Vietnam, only saw happy people there, and it is a communist country.

Democracy isn't the ideal system either, and it is to the people to choose how they want their country to be ruled. People who can hardly survive you'll see both in communist and democratic countries, also saw fully packed supermarkets in Vietnam, one of the richest countries in Asia. There is a lot of tourism, mostly by russians and chinese people, but more and more western countries discover it too as being a nice place to be. As I watch VTV4 regularly the economy of Vietnam is doing fantastic.

Of course there are things that could be better for the people, the same here. In the Netherlands a lot of shops had to close or went bankrupt because these days most people order stuff on the internet. Well, I could visit all sites like youtube, when I was in Vietnam, when I had a stop in China on my way home, I couldn't go to youtube, that was disappointing, but even China is moving forward. It's America over and over again saying the communist countries are bad, human rights ain't what it should be etc. Well, how about America and the human rights? Deathrow, people shooting around in schools and supermarkets, it is my right not to be shot.
America first is the way Trump was doing it, and the rest of the planet was benefiting from that.. Now look where we are headed..

Benefitting? What benefits did we had under Trump. Trump was a disaster, he made problems with N-Korea, China, Denmark (willing to buy Greenland), Canada, Mexico, and several European countries.
Willing to build a pipeline through the holy grounds of Native Americans.

Trump is fat and filthy rich, but the American people are suffering from poverty, I readed somewhere on this site that 66% of the visitors of the foodbank work seven days a week and still can't survive without help. Trump could helped most of them I bet, just by giving them money, paying their debts etc. Even if he would have helped 1000 people a year, might cost him maybe 2 million dollars, he would become richer and then the world would looked to him different.
And the debt the USA has keeps on growing, even under Trump.

Your country is bankrupt...

The debt meter of the Netherlands, going down with €350.- Euro per second. This is because of the negative interest.

tps://www.destaatsschuldmeter.nl

Now the one of America, going up with 45.486 dollars per second.

PeKaatje: The French occupied Vietnam for many years and then the Vietnamese wanted to be free, the same as the most countries tried against Germany, but our armies were not strong enough, we had the resistance, but that didn't help very much, and we needed our allies from the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Morocco and Poland to help us out. And if Russia hadn't kicked the Germans out of Poland, Poland wouldn't have been able to help us. And if if the Russians would have freed all of Europe, the iron curtain, or Berlin wall as you might call it might have been along the dutch, Belgium, French, Spanish and Portugese coasline. Then we would have been allies to Russia during the cold war. Well, we know how it was in Russia, long lines before the supermarkets and hardly enough to eat or survive. So I am glad with the way it ended.
But not with what the world is now where America everywhere sees 'threats' and starts wars. We all now the Iraq war was because of the oil. What was America doing in Libia? Now with Khadaffi gone it's even more a mess and a threat than it was before. Same goes for Iraq with Saddam Hussein gone.

I don't fight no wars, only on the chessboard, I am to clever to join the army and get shot somewhere far from home in a country I don't care about or for people I don't know, and even care less about. I deal with my problems, let them deal with theirs.

Get sober and put the marihuana aside, get a life.
ain't you a bit too friggen old to join the Military?laugh

America needs the weaponindustry and the oil so they won't go bankrupt. That's why they go to war everytime and sell weapons to countries that shouldn't have these weapons, like the biological weapons sold to Saddam Hussein to use against Iran
