Mercedes_00: If I had the luxury of being in a really nice relationship I would be able to compare the two scenarios.
To me a relationship doesn't mean you have to be joined at the hip..To me it's healthy for both to have time together and time away from each other spending time with friends or just have me time alone..When you get all clingy it would suffocate the relationship..When you suffocate someone that person isn't going to look forward spending time with you..To me a relationship can become a chore..I don't want to be any mans chore wanting to spend time with me because he feels he has too..It should be because he wants to..Then again what would I bloody know
At the moment single is better for me. I am open to having a relationship if I met the right person. You know quite a bit Mercedes. You know what your needs are and that is more than a lot of people. I also cannot do the joined at the hip sufficating type of relationship. It really isn't necessary for us to even live together. I believe you can have a relationship with someone and each maintain seperate households. Maybe one day I will meet someone who will change my mind and prove me wrong. Until then I will just keep being me. Living, loving life and growing ------ This thread is Archived ------

I worked on it for 11 years before making a different choice ... way past novelty time... with 2 (rather gorgeous) step-daughters and 2 childten we had together ...
