When I was about 10 years old my mother took me with her to see a lawyer. Something about getting more child support from my dad as far as I know. While we were there the lawyer asked me if I collect stamps as he showed me a small batch of used stamps that he tore off his mail. I said no and he said too bad, I was going to give these to you if you did. Damn! I thought. I should've said yes, there might be some unused ones in that pile. All I could think of on our way home was that little pile of stamps. Well, I decided to start collecting stamps so that if & when my mom went back to see the lawyer I could get the stamps. That event turned into a life long passion for collecting stamps.

For the last 6 years or so I have been collecting data on my environment such as morning temp, Gigs of usage on my phone, as well as battery %, weather, like rain or snow etc, the height of the water in my well (stopped that about a year ago, and my electric meter reading. I've learned some interesting facts from doing this such as if I'm on the verge of my well getting critically low like after a drought or long spell of no rain, am I about to run out of water? I also document the Profit & loss of my investments which helps me decide my next move in the market. (buy, sell or hold).
Acapella choir singing and about to start salsa dancing ... Was 'messing around' with a violin a while back but not played in a while... I do yoga and the Tibetan Rites but don't see them as hobbies. Also create clothes every now and then out of material or wool knitted or croched. Also don't see it as a hobby... Going to try get my winter vege garden going again this year ...
