35 years ago it was thought that neurolgical development was such that no one would be able to recall anything prior to 18 months of age.
I believe later research demonstrated that isn't true.
INdeed I can even remember before I was born ,, even though some here might ridicule me ,,,, but that's facts and was the reason for my many nightmares at a young age,,,,

You are not alone there....read Not I, Not Other Than I by Russel Williams.

That's wonderful! Remembering before you were born). Hope the nightmares have stopped
My first memory was when I was 2 years and 2 months’ old. It is so distinct…it has been clear ever since. Some researchers believe that a very early memory is “branded in” due to a startling (“Atten-SHUN!!) event. It was Halloween, or close, and a neighbor had brought over a huge bowl of hard candy. She tripped and the bowl and Candy came crashing very noisily down, scattering, etc…(startling event). In the other room a baby (my little sister, born that mid-Summer) was loudly crying..( event- on- event). When I was in the fifth grade, my teacher was discussing, and asking us about our earliest memories. That evening, I asked my mother if she remembered a Halloween when a neighbor tripped and spilled a huge bowl of candy. “Why, yes”, she answered. “That was Francis Johnson. But, you were only two…”
Do previous lives count? I cant remember anything until I was 6. My guy remembers earlier. He cant believe I cant. I dont know why. The memories I have of early years are pretty much the stories my parents told me I did or saw.And I have no recollection of them. It seems odd I cant remember before I started school. And even many of those are few. Either I had a very boring, unchanging life..or just see no point to remember stuff.
Something about the limits of our knowledge and understanding. We remember nothing about our early years but we also know that they're massively important. Arguably more important than everything we've worked out since. It's a bit like God in a way.

nope, almost nobody can remember this time, my first memories starts when I was three years of age. But what I heard from my mum was that when I was younger, and she was busy cooking I would press my bed through the whole room, so I was the first one to get food. I also heard that when I was 2, my eldest sister was 7 and she was calculating at the dinnertable, saying: 1X8 = 8, 2X8 = 16, 3X8 = ehhh, and then I shouted 24. She was really pissed off cuz I wasn't even at school and could calculate even better than she did. Maybe that is the reason why she becoame really fanatic at school and learning.
I remember something that very significant to me when I was less than 5 months old that I don't feel like telling CS other than it was my first good memory.(a nurse at the hospital)... I also remember being 11 months old and was not walking well yet.(rare moment with father).
