A few years ago I made an appointment to meet an old friend locally. All was done by SMS texting. I misunderstood their agreement to meet on the updated Friday rather than the original Thursday. Share it here if you like?

They were waiting for me on the Thursday and I happened to pass through that same day with another person doing shopping. They asked me where I had been. I told them it was tomorrow for the meet up.
This mix up led to them feeling panicky; in a state. I explained my understanding but nevertheless they blocked me that very afternoon onwards. My voicemails and texts to outline the whole thing possibly never reached them or were ignored. This felt so unfair and stupid after knowing them for about 15 years at the time.

Some of it were really funny and some were annoying..
Problem is , if someone has mistakenly misunderstood , we can deal with that ..
But when someone consciously refuse to understand the facts and willingly continue their misunderstanding , then we are just helpless ...
