I doubt very much whether you nor I will ever find out in our life time. We have done so much over the centuries. I'm still baffled over the pyramids though. No one can still explain totally how they were built, plus the hieroglyphics which were drawn on the walls and tombs of the Egyptian Pyramids. I still find it fascinating how they abandoned a pyramid which was half built because it wasn't in line with the sun and the stars. The Egyptians were very clever. I'm not too sure but I think that's were we learned "Embalming" from. We're supposed to be very clever these days but yet we still can't work out many things that happened many decades ago. We just surmise
I'm not really interested in the future to be honest. People of my age have done what they can, it's up to the next generation to carry that on. It's their choice now

Yeh, they do know how they were built...and by whom. The question about why they did certain things are still being debated though...Interesting find of little houses near by, just up the road. A few of the workers houses.Glyphs on the door entrance talk about his job, skill and portrays his wife as his equal and shows great respect for her.Agree we're not half as clever as we think and previous generations would probably build a nest in our ears they were so much smarter than we are....ask a teenager today how they would do x y and z that their grandparents would have done as a matter of course and you'd get a shoulder shrug and blank stare...
Tech is great and has lot of useful applications....but it's making the masses very very lazy, even more stupid than they were already and incompetent.....hardly any teenager today, or even 20 something for that matter, would be able to survive a week on their own without the help of google...something we all took for granted in times past...

I totally agree but just can't be assed trying to type out anything now. No one cares anyway lol. My youngest son has just got his bachelors honours degree in computing and security network. Something like that. He said, Mum just treat everyone that you don't know as idiots on the Internet. At least I know that no one can "hack me"
