I read in most profiles of women that send me messages "Must have a sense of humour or I am told I have a GOSH, but when I send my nudes they don't laugh, whats that even about Prudes never appealed to me to be honest..
It’s not a case of wanting a bad boy , or a nice guy .Women want a “good guy” , which generally means in all aspects of life . Whether it be socially, or work related .

What kills me is when asked..a gal says she wants a guy who makes her laugh. Huh? Maybe try a clown. Or comedian. Laughter can have many meanings. It might be a cover for shyness, self deprecation, meanness or insanity. Perhaps one should say a sense of humor and ability to see the absurdity in some situations.
When I grew up in the farms and small towns, matches more than anything, were made in school. I graduated and married an upper class mate. So did many of us. After school, people got to meet in stores or restaurants or factories. Now that is not common. Turn overs in stores means no one gets to know each other. Same for jobs. Go to a bar and usually find that bar fly or drunk. Or out of towner passin through. Just try to talk over 12 human size speakers.
Then people meet via friends. If they socialize. So to date sites. Some charge, ask life history it appears so they can guarantee a match. Some day. Or free ones. Type in stats, wants, dislikes, distance and find matches so far off base it is laughable. Type in within 50 miles and they offer someone in a foriegn country. Or the other side of the country. Anyone have a Star Trek transporter?

Perhaps your problem is that they take a peek at what you wrote in your profile, and when they get to:

Orzzz: I notice a common thing on here. Men who contact and then resort to grunts. Ask a question. No answer. Conversations end up one sided. I know men think women like the strong silent type, but!
I have never lacked for conv with my men. Not in all the years. Mom said she and dad never ran out of stuff to talk about.
The idea of companionship is sharing stuff. And that starts with getting to know each other. I used to bar-tend. Part of it is to be sociable. Customer comes in and chat as they wish. And then there were the lumps. Get their beer, and crawl into it. Make a remark about weather or some trivial thing and get a grunt. Try 3 or 4 times and then ..to heck with you. Go back to my stool and ignore til he wants a drink.
Men, if you want to meet a gal on here..talk to her via emails. Other wise you come off as a dud. She is not going to jump at you just for the photo. Or profile. And I bet those are basically grunts.
You have a job. You have hobbies. You have a home, garden, city..in other words unless you are a gamer living in the basement..you have a life. Talk about it. Or..maybe you are just a lump. This thread is about the guys. My profile says it as it is. Yet I get constant messages from men, young, middle and old who apparently either dont bother to read profile, see pic..email pic.. cant understand plain language or think..but if she only knew me. I always reply politely..read profile...not here to date. I am taken. That might be part of the problem on date sites for people..men for sure. It reminds me of the way some deer hunt. Sling enough lead and maybe something will walk into it. Maybe the ones who cant find a gal dont care what she wants..just figures try them all and see if one bites. It is not fishing! And then they get peeved because the gals dont reply.
I guess there are some date sites that ask everything from breakfast choice to whether they like the left side or right side of the bed. Pages of details to find compatibility.
I have never had a problem with men wanting me..just that I didn't want them. Had to do with lots of factors. Like employment? Or work ethics including caring about their habits and personal care. Or the fact they were MARRIED! Or way to young?
So the bottom line is when seeking a life partner, stay in your own strata. Yes that movie star is great, but, they are not just waiting to meet you.
I have a neighbor friend. He wanted a wife super bad. And went to the college town and partied with college age gals. Whined they didnt want to do anything but party. Guess what..that is how college age is. They werent going to college to marry a deer hunting country boy with a high school diploma. And when and if they married, it would be in their strata...lawyer, doctor, accountant, or whatever their diploma was for.
I found him a gal that wanted him. And he rejected her because she had a 5 year old kid. I said you want a wife and kids...what is better than a proven breeder. Now he is almost 50 and has given up ever having a wife and kids. Plus now those college gals find him to be pathetic and a joke.
Before shopping for a car..count your money and dont keep hitting the Lexus dealers. And then blame the sales gal for showing you the door. Likewise, that gal who works as a waitress just might have her reasons and be a hidden gem.
