I didn't say it was impossible to be on the Autistic Spectrum and be diagnosed with a personality disorder, as there are overlapping traits and diagnoses are based upon clincal judgement.I said Temple Grandin is on the Autistic Spectrum which is in no way a personality disorder. Blaming everything on our emotions and hormones is pervasive in the medical field and makes it difficult to get relief for physical and psychological issues.
I have never heard of personality defective disorder.

Men seem pretty autistic to me. I would guess that it's the difference between the hunter and the gatherer. The hunter was transfixed by the same thing all day every day, the gatherer not so much. The gatherer did many things more things in a day and the gathering itself not so intensely focused as hunting an animal for hours on end.------ This thread is Archived ------
