I think it’s city’s to lose now . Liverpool scraped a victory, Chelsea defeated.. They steamrolled Watford tonight & I can only see them going from strength to strength.

Often, in my own threads, I don't respond to people who post a response to someone else although sometimes I do respond to them. Unless it's an obvious wind up (hidden as a response to someone else). In which case if it's funny I might. Else I just ignore since it wasn't addressed to me ... My main complaints are people who create a forums blog & ignore the posters who make the effort to respond .

I think they seem to forget that’s there is private messaging for that kind of thing .

I agree with points 1 and 2. When I write a response to a thread I do it to let the OP know that I read their thread. I also do it to encourage a response from the OP and anyone else who has an opinion even if they don't agree with me. I respond because I'm looking for conversation on the subject. When I write a thread I respond to everyone who made a post in my thread. If I didn't do that it would be rude. As far as a thread being hijacked I don't get angry. It seems to be par for the course because some people don't have an intelligent mind to stay on track so they write something to cause a fight. Total 12 year old mentality.

So right…and I’m guilty of doing this. Like, almost having a conversation with someone in the post…awhile back I responded to a member who was posting in a specific thread. I was saying, “ Oh hi! Long time no hear! Is your mother-in-law back from Idaho? How’d that go? That doctor who won’t fill your RX is a real pos! Find another! How’s the mama cat? We’re you able to find forever homes for the kittens.” Finally, I e-mailed. I do see this from time to time. Many people use forums blogs as an excuse to exchange pleasantries.

I think it depends on who posts the thread . Many people just post a blog then disappear.
As far as I’m concerned, everyone has a license to post what they want .
The ones I feel for are those who post a thread with a view to a productive response & the usual suspects deem it appropriate to post childlike comments.
