I come from a psychic family, my grandmother was a medium and used to give seances, a lot she came out with was so accurate she had a following. As she lay dying I asked her to send me some sort of message when she passed over. I know some people on CS have this gift please share.

With one grandmother who hypnotised snaked and another who was a healer and know as "The Truthful" what are the chances I inherited some of those skills and more?

Did you ever receive a message from your grandmother Tom?

She came in a dream and said she would look over me till I joined her, it was a dream, maybe because her passing was such a sad event for me, but I know what I believe,

That is right but it's a difficult subject to talk about because people are afraid of the unknown , but I think most people have experienced something they can't explain

I suspect my grandmother was but never talked about it. She and her sister had an experience with an Ouija board. This was a beautifully handmade board, not the store bought beaver board kind. They asked what spirits were present and it spelled out the name of their other sister who died. Scared them both never used it again. My grandmother always had books and magazines about the subject all over her house, but just seemed nervous when I tried to talk to her about it. I've always thought true psychic ability may be a sensitivity to resonance/frequencies energies? Hard to explain what I man.

I do understand what you mean, some people seem to have an innate sense which gives them a window into this world. I think it is an interesting subject, Have you ever turned around , almost involuntarily, and found yourself looking into the eyes of someone who was staring at you?
tomcatty: The reason people are reluctant to talk is they fear ridicule from less enlightened people
Interestingly enough, I saw an osteopath for a few sessions after hurting my shoulder and things being as slow as they are, it took for ever to get the appointments through the Spanish NHS. When he finally saw me, he commented how it was impossible that the shoulder he was "seeing" was the same one described in the medical notes and (MRI) and he asked me how I did it. So I told him, "my own healing and yoga + anti-swelling extract of a plant". He was rather amazed and impressed and we chatted about healing therapies etc ...
Roll on a few weeks and a friend of mine was at the same practice with a back problem, and the osteopath and another customer were laughing and totally taking the piss about "alternative therapies". Mean while my friends upper back and shoulder hurt so much he couldn't even touch them. Although she said she was a friend of mine.
Roll on another week and my friend had asked my for help with healing which I obliged. When she went back to the osteopath that week, she was no longer in terrible pain and he asked her how she did that. But he already knew! And they had a chat about my "healing gift" and alternative therapies.
So even a professional who saw with his own eyes the difference between "before and after" was prepared to laugh at "alternative medicine" so a not to appear "weird" in front of a customer

So interesting, it ties up with my belief in alternative medicine, taught to me by my grandmother, who was ridiculed my you know who.
