Nigel Farage has hit back at Sir Andy Murray after the tennis star criticised him over his support of Novak Djokovic in the Australian visa row.

The Wimbledon champion accused Farage of hypocrisy over his support for Djokovic, who on Monday won an appeal to remain in Australia after his visa was revoked due to his decision not to be vaccinated against COVID.

Farage posted a video of a meeting with Djokovic’s family in Belgrade on social media.

Murray tweeted: “Please record the awkward moment when you tell them you’ve spent most of your career campaigning to have people from Eastern Europe deported.”

Farage responded: “Dear Andy, you clearly don't understand politics or the Brexit campaign but are filled with prejudice.

“Concentrate on the tennis and, a word of advice, crack a smile every now and again.”

Murray then quoted Farage’s tweet and added a fishing emoji.

I say deport Djokovic

It’s a political decision, just to get more popularly votes , not a medical one .

If the Australian federation is so concerned about people’s welfare, maybe they should just cancel the whole tournament, especially now that covid is hitting 100,000 cases a day .

Maybe we should, I agree there.

Is our immigration system run by our elected leaders, or some Serbian gronk tennis player?

It appears the latter at present, but it seems there is more to play out. Yes, that's political, whoever stands up to him will have no further career in politics. My guess, it will be someone aged about 64 and 3 quarters who takes the fall and payout.

Hopefully, it's only ten minutes before he thought he'd play. No ceremony, handcuffs, airport, seeya arsehole.

Some people can't handle a Solo player standing up for freedom

Massive 145-Country Study Shows Sharp INCREASE of Transmission and DEATH After Introduction of COVID Vaccines
Instead of bringing an end to this pandemic as promised, the widespread rollout of the experimental vaccines has actually caused a sharp increase in Covid-19 cases and deaths across the world, according to a recently published preprint study that looked at data from the 145 of the most vaccinated countries in the world.

The 99-page study titled “Worldwide Bayesian Causal Impact Analysis of Vaccine Administration on Deaths and Cases Associated with COVID-19: A BigData Analysis of 145 Countries” found that in the US specifically, the jab has caused a whopping 38% more Covid cases per million – and an even more astonishing 31% increase in deaths per million.

this isn`t about concerns about our heath, this is a control issue

To be fair to France though, they do produce more than wine.

Maybe your people should have a clear policy as to their immigration procedures.
First they gave him a visa , then the politicians took it away , then the courts ruled in his favour , now they may take away his visa again .

He is a sportsman who just wants to apply his trade & not be a porn mixed up in your political triangle .

Maybe your country should have more clarity where immigration is concerned, then we wouldn’t be in this mess .

Well , here in England, our government has given up on brainwashing people into getting the vaccines, with no more boosters & limited testing equipment available to the public.
Experts have predicted that the pandemic will be over by spring because the virus has become so weak , it will evoke into an epidemic, similar to a cold or flu & not a pandemic.

There is clear policy, but it was kind of ignored. We sent at least one other packing, not too much fuss about her.
it's an election year, and a conservative government. I doubt they'll roll over on this. Keeping their gunpowder dry is my guess.

Why exactly would we be worried about Serbia? good luck if they try anything, we'd drill them no problems, without our big brothers.

Nah, I can see your point, the sport/politics thing... I can also see a gronk germ famer playing games with our immigration system. Hopefully he is repatriated to his home country soon. I think the 3 year exclusion period will be the kicker. Hopefully.

Really this is an affair for the Australian government, but other people have been refused visas for visiting sick relatives. It looks like one rule for them and another for the rest of
us us on the suface.

Yes, I had to show evidence of vaccination to the police enter my own home state.... But if I play tennis I obviously don't need to?
