Tiger_Moth: Yet here she is bless her 30 years later and still standing as the longest reigning Monarch in the World.
70 Years, God Bless Her. She's gone through a few "turmoils" in her reign but she has stayed true to the Uk. I'm sure that she has had many regrets from many years ago but I don't think she really had a choice to try and overrule the Government. I'm talking about Anne. How things have changed now.
galrads: just reading about how the Queen advocated for change to the succession of the royal crown in 2013 and the British Parliament enacted the Crown Act (2013). Now the succession will be dissociated from gender of those in line to the throne.
Did you Google that Yes it has changed. William will succeed his father "Charles" then Prince George, then Princess Charlotte, then Prince Louis. The difference now is that "Females" are now inline to the throne. where as, it always "by passed" the Princesses and went to the Males. Charles will become King and Camilla "Queen Consort" not a true Queen. Elizabeth became Queen in her own right and that's why her husband Philip couldn't be King. Comprende Amigo?
bodleing2: You thought you were buying Tower Bridge...
That's the BIGGEST joke ever "America buys London Bridge" When they got it, they realised it wasn't the Bridge with the "Towers" on it I still tease my American friend over this
KarloradoFL: Congratulations Queen Elizabeth 2!!! I think she is a lovely person and remember seeing her volunteering to help British and American troops in WW 2 as a teenage princess on TV newsreels. But because I am the plucky comic relief on this site, I will post this.
Well! at least she isn't Pissing all over the toilet seat
